MANIFill Flow

MANIFill Flow

The light-curing MANIFill Flow composites – easy handling thanks to the different types of viscosity. MANIFill Flow 55% filler content with low viscosity for direct, minimally invasive restorations.

Product Characteristics

  • Easy and comfortable application
  • No dripping – easy and highly accurate application
  • Excellent physical properties
  • Naturally aesthetic restorations
  • Thixotropic behavior for precise placement

Indications

Light-curing, flowable composite with low viscosity for direct, minimally invasive restorations.

  • Fissure sealing
  • Class V fillings
  • Minimally invasive Class I, II, and III fillings
  • Correction of enamel defects
  • Blocking out undercuts
  • Minor shape and shade corrections on enamel

Step by Step

Preparation of the tooth surface
  • Clean the tooth structure with a fluoride-free polishing paste.
Cavity preparation
  • Preparation of the cavity according to the general rules of the adhesive technique.
Protection of deep cavities
  • In the case of very deep cavities close to the pulp, cover the corresponding areas with a calcium hydroxide preparation
Matrix application for approximal defects
  • For cavities with approximal parts, apply and fix a transparent matrix.
Etching and bonding
  • Etch and bond according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Application of the flow composite
  • Apply Flow in thin layers (max. 2 mm) directly into the cavity, do not introduce any air bubbles when applying with the cannula.
  • Cure each applied layer with a commercially available polymerization device for 40 seconds. During polymerization, a dispersion layer forms on the surface, which must not be touched or removed. It is used to connect the subsequent composite layers.
  • ManiFill Flow can be finished and polished immediately after polymerization. Finishing diamonds, flexible discs, silicone polishers and polishing brushes are suitable for finishing. A light-curing unit with an emission spectrum of 350 – 500 nm should be used for polymerization.
Light curing table
Light intensity for curing ≥ 650 mW / cm2
Wavelength for curing 350 – 500 nm
Curing time 40 sec.
Maximum layer thickness 2 mm
  • Store at 10 – 25 °C (50 – 77 °F). The material should have reached room temperature before use. Close the syringe tightly immediately after use.
  • The maximum shelf life is printed on the label of the respective syringe. Do not use after the expiry date!
  • Undesirable side effects of this medical device are extremely rare if processed and used properly.
